The UK Debt Management Office said it will have five outright gilt auctions in the quarter starting October, including two 50-year issues.

The first 50-year issue will take place on Oct 25 involving 1.25 pct index-linked Treasury Gilt maturing in 2055. The next will be on Dec 6, involving 4.25 pct Treasury gilt maturing on 2055.

The three other auctions will be on Oct 13, Nov 8 and Nov 24 with the issue of 4.75 pct Treasury stock maturing in 2032, a new current coupon conventional gilt maturing in 2011 and 2.5 pct index-linked Treasury stock maturing in 2013 respectively.

The nominal amounts for each issue will be announced at 3.30 pm BST the week before the auctions.
