HRH Prince Charles auctions Charolais cattle
Published November 23rd, 2005
At the opening of Cirencester Livestock Market in Gloucestershire, Prince Charles brought the hammer down on three lots.
The Prince joked that he could not tell who was bidding - and feared he may have bought the bullocks himself.
He stood on the rostrum above the cattle ring as the Charolais bullocks were paraded in front of farmers.
