Samsung and O2 are to auction the new Samsung i300 music phone, complete with celeb’s top ten tracks downloaded onto the phone, to raise money for BBC charity Children in Need.

The winning bidders will receive a brand new Samsung i300 mobile, loaded with the play list of their chosen celebrity from a list that includes Johnny Vaughan, Sadie Frost, T4’s Steve Jones, Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and DJ Yousef.

Mark Mitchinson, director of Samsung Mobile UK, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to get their hands on the latest music phone, with a slight twist. eBay bidders can listen to Bez’s top tunes, and then add hundreds of their own tracks on top.”

Bids start later today and close on 18 December. The new Samsung music phone will be sold exclusively through O2 in the UK until 31 December 2005.
