GLASGOW department store TJ Hughes has become the first UK retail chain to open an eBay shop on the auction website.

Bosses say the internet move marks another step forward in the firm’s online sales and follows the launch of its own website in October this year.

The store is offering 110 of its most popular lines for bargain prices on the online auction giant’s site.
