US Open winner’s golf medal to be auctioned

The gold medal of Orville Moody, winner of the US Open in 1969, will go under the hammer next Tuesday.
It is valued at £30,000 and is being sold by Edinburgh auction house Lyon and Turnbull. It can be seen at the firm’s Broughton Place base.
