Full Story
Car stereos snatched from parked cars in Cardiff were sold across the UK to unsuspecting eBay customers. Sales were sometimes completed within 48 hours of the local losers finding their vehicles broken into. And in one case, an offer of sale was posted before the car CD player had even been taken. Cardiff Crown Court was told they were being stolen to order for Anthony Bratcher, 28, of Archer Road, Ely, Cardiff. He was such a well known fence in his area that ready supplies kept coming his way from thieves. Yesterday, his eBay dealing came to end with a two-year jail sentence after he had admitted 16 counts of handling and 12 charges of obtaining money by deception.
