Princess Margaret’s collection for auction

More than 90 pieces of jewellery from the collection of the late Princess Margaret have gone on public display for the first time in Edinburgh, ahead of an auction.

The pieces form part of the Collection of Her Royal Highness, Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, which will be auctioned at Christie’s in London next month.

More than 800 items ranging from jewellery and Faberge to furniture, silver and works of art will be auctioned.
