Guinness heir Garech Browne has added euro 2.6million to his fortune as antique furniture and artworks from his County Wicklow estate were auctioned off to bidders from around the world.
The day-long sale of 400 items, many of which date back to the 18th century, saw huge interest with one anonymous buyer paying euro 200,000 for an Anglo-Indian cabinet inlaid with etched ivory.
