Big Brother golden ticket on eBay

A frenzied bidding war also developed in the real world yesterday after a Big Brother “golden ticket” was apparently put up for auction on eBay.
The mystery vendor - identified only as laffytaffy292 - claims to have struck gold shortly after 100 KitKats stuffed with tickets hit shops at 10.30pm on Thursday.
In two weeks’ time producers will pick one of the ticketholders at random to join the contestants.
The lot, which had attracted dubious bids of more than £10 million, was later withdrawn by eBay because the seller had “breached terms of our User agreement”.
However, a spokeswoman said the problem was a technicality and they would be allowed to put the ticket up for sale again. At least one golden ticket has been claimed so far.
A Big Brother spokeswoman said: “One ticket was claimed yesterday. It was from a four-finger KitKat bought at a central London branch of Sainbury’s.”
