Essex Boatyards, the UK’s leading boat sales centre has launched an online boat auction facility, offering customers the unique opportunity to bid for boats with no reserve price at its website.

Every month Essex Boatyards will list a stock boat on the website, offering customers the chance to purchase a fantastically priced boat, as well as to help charity, as 5% of the total sale proceeds will be donated to a selected charity each month, with this month’s proceeds being given to the RNLI. With over 21,000 customers visiting Essex Boatyards’ website every month, and over 4 million hits generated each month, there is no doubt that there will be a lot of interest in this new addition to the company’s many boat offers.

“Our new auction facility offers everyone the chance to buy their own boat,” says James Barke, Joint Managing Director of Essex Boatyards. “We will not set any final prices and will welcome any bids for these boats, irrespective of their market value. We will also be giving potential owners the chance to see what they are bidding for as each boat offered through the auction will be at our headquarters in Essex Marina.
