The internet auction company Autocon AS has acquired the UK pioneer of online closed car auctions developed by the industry consulting and training firm Mitac, Global Remarketing, from R.L. Polk & Co, which acquired Mitac four years ago. No price was disclosed. The Macclesfield-based company will become part of Autorola Global Remarketing Limited. Mr. Mike Crocker will assume the role of managing director of Autorola Global Remarketing.
