Record numbers of sheep for auction

MORE than 42,000 breeding ewes have been entered in the Welsh Mule Sheep Breeders Association sales from September 6 to 13 - an increase of nearly 3,000 compared with 2005.
The Welshpool sale will take place on September 6 and 7. While association members will be at the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells on September 8. Finally, North Wales members will have their opportunity at Ruthin Auction Mart.
