Dinosaur prints stolen from a protected site in South Wales have been found advertised on auction website eBay.
The fossilised, three-toed prints, inset, were ripped from the coastline near Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan where they had been left 200 million years ago.
They were advertised for sale by a shop in Lyme Regis, Dorset, before the sale was spotted by the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW).
Police raided the shop and a man described as a local amateur geologist has been cautioned by officers.
