Michael Schumacher’s overalls are up for grabs as some of the biggest names in Formula One come together in aid of the Chris Mays Foundation by auctioning off several items to raise funds for the care of the former hospitality manager.
Chris Mays was badly injured in a motorcycle accident in Thailand last year and now requires round the clock care. Furthermore, his future is uncertain and his wife and daughters run the risk of financial hardship.
As a result, several teams and drivers have joined forces for the foundation and are auctioning off several of their items, including Michael Schumacher, who will donate his race overalls.
Nico Rosberg will also auction his overalls, while Jenson Button, Jarno Trulli and Takuma Sato have their helmets up for grabs. McLaren Mercedes, Red Bull and Super Aguri are also involved in the auction and all items can be viewed on www.absoluteauthentic.com.
