100 million-year-old Stingray fossil for auction

A stingray fossil estimated to be 100-million years old, as well as minerals and meteorites, will be sold at auction in the Scottish city of Edinburgh next week, the owner and organisers said on Tuesday.
The 60cm stingray fossil is valued at £10 000, part of a collection owned by Dale Rogers, who has travelled the world looking for rare and beautiful fossils.
His collection includes opalised dinosaur bone material, crystals, minerals and meteorites.
