Posters depicting by-gone images of Northern Irish tourism are set to go under the hammer in London.
Auction house Christie’s has a catalogue of almost 400 travel and vintage posters for the 14 September sale.
Scenes from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland designed by some famous artists are up for auction.
Many of the posters, which show rural scenes and transport, have estimates of between £600-£1,000, with some starting at £250.
Nicolette Tomkinson, a poster specialist with Christie’s, said: “We have this sale once a year and it takes a year to get all of the posters collected.
“This is generally one of the most popular sales we have,” she told BBC News Online.
“Everyone can find something that they can relate to in a poster in terms of where they live or where they have been on holiday.
“There have been lots of inquiries. Ireland is generally very popular - both north and south - and it is a strong market.
