eBay announced My World, which it is calling an updated profile page that “enables you to showcase your personality and interests by combining many of the features already available on eBay.” The concept is similar to MySpace, a popular community site with social networking features. eBay’s My World will let users draw from existing features on eBay, such as their feedback profiles and eBay Blogs, as well as allowing them to add new content, such as a bio and photos.
