Two giant eyeballs that feature on the front cover of a Pink Floyd DVD have been sold at a charity auction.

The 6ft props were sold for £16,500 on internet auction site eBay, with the higest bidder coming in after 46 bids.

All profits from the sale are set to go to the homeless charity Crisis.

The auction was the idea of David Gilmore, the vice-president of the charity, and was fuelled by the need to provide more for the homeless over the winter months.
