Pat Phoenix Pictures for Hilditch Auction

The collection of photos is thought to have been given to a friend by the star.

It includes autographed pictures of Pat and other stars. One shot from 1955 shows her looking like Marilyn Monroe in an early stage role.

The sale on February 7 is being handled by Sandbach-based auctioneers Andrew Hilditch and Son. Auctioneer Tom Andrew said: “It’s a unique lot dealing with a legendary soap opera figure. It’s been valued at £200 to £400 but may go for far more.”
