Sothebys Reviewing Advertising

Sotheby’s is to review its UK media planning and buying account in tandem with a review of its creative account.

According to Nielsen Media research, Sotheby’s spent an estimated £700,000 on media, mainly on print advertising in upmarket titles. The auctioneer is understood to have traditionally handled its media planning and buying in-house.

Sotheby’s in the world’s oldest international auction house and was founded in London on March 11 1744. The review is being handled by the AAR.
