Edinburgh Wine drinkers toast auction

A CHARITY auction is to form part of a new wine festival coming to the Capital.
Former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Jilly Goolden is to host a launch event for the Edinburgh International Wine Festival.
The inaugural event at Prestonfield House will involve a champagne reception followed by a meal where each course is carefully matched up to a series of old and new wines. It is being used as a preview to next year’s two-day Edinburgh Wine Festival, taking place in February 2008.
The after-dinner auction will see proceeds raised going to Sightsavers, the international charity fighting blindness.
The dinner will take place in The Stables at Prestonfield House on May 24.
