Auction for Wasps tickets

Published May 12th, 2007

WASPS have sold all their allocated tickets for next weekend’s Heineken Cup final against Leicester.

They were given just 9,500 tickets for the showdown at Twickenham, which holds 82,000, and all had been snapped up by Tuesday.

With such a small percentage of Twickenham dedicated to Wasps fans, supporters have been forced to pay over the odds for tickets from internet auction sites such as e-bay, where fans are paying from £30 to as much as £100 for a ticket to the May 20 showpiece.
