Bonhams will be selling a Collection of Royal Navy items belonging to the late Reserve Officer, Commander Norman Morley DSC listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most decorated Reserve Officer of all time.
The collection includes an 1827 pattern Naval Officer’s Sword, the commander’s shoulder boards and his medals containing for instance the DSC three bars, a Victory of 39-45 Star, an Atlantic and Italy Star and a 39-45 War Medal. The collection is being sold on August 7 at Bonhams in Oxford, and is expected to fetch £1,000-1,500.
