Chiltern Railways Auction

British bus and rail operator Arriva is intrested in bidding for Chiltern Railways when the auction kicks off later this month, its chief executive said on Thursday.

Fund Manager Henderson expects to start the sale of the railway, which is seen fetching over 80 million pounds, before the end of this month, industry sources say.

“If the formal sale process starts, we would respond to that,” Arriva Chief Executive David Martin told reporters.
