Christies Says London Auction Sales Could Jump 38%

Christie’s International Chief Executive Officer Edward Dolman said the company’s February auctions in London are valued at 38 percent more than last year’s, indicating continuing growth in art sales.
London-based Christie’s sales of impressionist and contemporary art have a top estimate of 285.5 million pounds, compared with a presale valuation of 207 million pounds for auctions in February 2006,
