Oldest Arsenal football medal for auction

The oldest known existing Arsenal medal is being auctioned.
The medal was presented to Richard Horsington at the club’s first ever cup final, the London FA Challenge Cup in 1890.
The match saw Royal Arsenal lose 1-0 to Old Westminster at the Kennington Oval, watched by 5,000 spectators.
Auctioneers Sportingold are selling the medal at their auction at Northampton Saints RFC, Franklin’s Gardens, Northampton and expect it to fetch up to £6,000.
