An auction of well-known people from across the Burnham-On-Sea area has raised more than £880 for a tennis academy set up in memory of young tennis player Nathan Edwards who died last year.

Dozens of people flocked to Highbridge’s Oaktree Arena on Friday evening (February 1st) to support a skittles night and auction of promises in aid of The Nathan Edwards Tennis Academy.

Organisers said they were delighted with the support given to the fundraiser. www.burnham-on-sea.com
