Hospice ball raises record amount

ARDGOWAN Hospice raised a record amount from their annual ball — with most of it coming from an auction.
The event produced £22,000, which was an increase of £2,000 on last year.
A total of £13,400 was raised in an auction conducted by Brian Clements of Greenock, who runs McTear’s Auctioneers and has featured recently on David Dickinson’s ‘Real Deal’ TV show. www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk
