SHETLAND Seafood Auctions has been short-listed by the National Council for Work Experience for an annual award that recognises employers who create valuable work experience for students.

The recognition follows Shetland Seafood Auctions hosting Emily Garrick, a second year student at Edinburgh University, to undertake a marketing project as part of the Shell Step programme last year and the more recent appointment of Suzanne Manson on a graduate placement programme assisting with promotion and marketing.

Shetland Seafood Auction manager, Martin Leyland said: “I am pleased that the company has been short-listed for this prestigious award and I very much look forward to attending the event in London on March 12 at which the winners will be announced. www.fishupdate.com
