Paragon Press Auction Brings in £1.1 Million

Christie’s auction of 120 of the last prints and portfolios in Paragon Press’s archives, brought in a total of £1.1 million.

A set of Damien Hirst colored etchings titled In a Spin, the Action of the World on Things, Volume II (2002) was the top lot, going for £72,500.

An artist’s proof of a Grayson Perry etching, Map of an Englishman, which playfully maps out a mind and includes places named “Self-Relief” and “Baked Beans,” estimated at £25,000 - £35,000, went for £41,300.
