Lenwood Country Club complex in Bideford, North Devon will go under the hammer at Colliers CRE’s auction in London onMay 13.
The club, in Northam, closed down a year ago following the bankruptcy of its owner.
The auctioneers say the property is “a large and well established country club with leisure facilities set within an eight-acre site.
Clubhouse facilities include reception, bar, kitchen, function rooms, former gym, three squash courts,
snooker room, sauna and changing rooms. Treatment rooms and staff residential accommodation are on the first floor. Outside, there is a large car park, two tennis courts and 62 bungalows within the grounds producing around£19,450pa through ground leases.
