The David Cochrane Collection for Sworders Auction
Published June 1st, 2008
The collection is particularly rich in 18th and early 19th century pottery, with countless pieces of fine Deltware and Creamware; 18th century samplers; woolwork and textiles; 17th century country furniture and incredibly decorative 17th, 18th and 19th century paintings.
David’s collection is the culmination of a lifetime’s passion and discernment, always seeking the unusual, the best and the most attractive and seldom being able to resist a purchase. David has decided to sell the collection with Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers, who will offer it for sale, largely without reserve, in their new Stansted Mountfitchet auction rooms on Wednesday 24 September.
