Hitler election ballot paper for Mullock’s auction

Published June 7th, 2008

A ballot paper from the 1933 election that brought Adolf Hitler to power is to be auctioned on June 25 at a Mullock’s auction of historical documents at Ludlow.

Richard Westwood-Brookes, from Mullock’s, said that the paper, on which a vote for the Nazi Party has been marked, was a document that had condemned the world to war.

The document bears the name of Hitler with those of Rudolf Hess and Hermann Goering, and of other party leaders whom Hitler later murdered.
